I am a figurative painter and printmaker who lives and works in Naples. My interest focuses on the representation of women who are disappointed, in love, melancholic, often closed in their dreams and in eternal struggle with themselves, just like me. Mine is a research for particular compositional cuts and I deal with currently problems, especially social problems, often using recycled materials. My engravings have a strong emotional impact. In the paintings, monotypes and installations I combine figurative elements with geometric and almost abstract parts using bright, often fluorescent colours, moving from enigmatic vertical figures to the creation of real dolls, which in their apparently playful aspect hide a wounded soul, inventing three-dimensional engraving. Visual and conceptual references are in the works of William Kentridge and Kalen Lennox, creating a new art form called Pop Expressionism, inspiring reflections and immersing the viewer in a fantastic and colorful world.
